We moved to this delightful area of West Dorset in 2020 and to the unpretentious,
cosy pub with superb views over the countryside.
Jenny created the wonderful wildlife garden to attract birds, bees, frogs and even hedgehogs.
Overall champions of Palmers Brewery Gardens in Bloom 2026.
Here in Dorset we live life at a leisurely pace, so relax, take your time, listen to the birdsong
in the garden and enjoy your visit.
Meals include delicious home-made pies, local sausages and faggots, steaks, cod & chips, curries,
home made lasagnes, vegetarian options, several home-made desserts and special boards.
Parties of more than six are asked to pre order for ease of service.
